Recently, we joined the STOIC Foundation in Hong Kong, to explore how creativity can solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Our focus: turning waste into value.

We introduced new materials and product concepts derived from oyster waste. Showing how a byproduct can become a beautiful, functional resource. Alongside this, we showcased practical alternatives to plastics, including citrus-based filament, coffee-waste materials, and glass transformation techniques that can plug into real supply chains today.

Together with Plat Institute, we also unveiled a striking collection of sake glasses inspired by the sound waves of Kowloon Bay as reminder that innovation emerges when design, science, and culture meet.

The energy in the room was hopeful and hands-on. Creativity is not a luxury; it’s the operating system for a sustainable future. And we strongly believe the future of sustainability is not just ethical, is also profitable!

Thank you to the STOIC Foundation for convening bold thinkers and doers, and to our partners at Plat Institute for pushing the boundaries of material design. We’re excited to keep turning ideas into products people keep, and systems that waste less.

If you’re exploring circular materials or product development, let’s collaborate.
